CHEPLAPHARM Arzneimittel GmbH

CHEPLAPHARM moves into new 2500 square meter office building at Greifswald’s Business Park Ziegelhof

On December 1st CHEPLAPHARM Arzneimittel GmbH moved into a new prestigious office building at Ziegelhof Business Park in the outskirts of the Hanseatic town of Greifswald.
CEO Sebastian Braun states that “after almost 11 years operating from the headquarter in Mesekenhagen we simply burst at all seams. We had to consider alternatives as our personnel increased drastically and there are more demanding requirements on infrastructure and equipment.”
Already in 2011 some departments of the rapidly growing (50% revenue growth in 2013 compared to previous year) and expanding pharmaceutical company (export share of 75%) moved to Ziegelhof business park in Greifswald. Due to the increasing number of employees the premises in Mesekenhagen were too small and not sufficient anymore.
The decision for extending the already existing office building at Ziegelhof was made based on the appealing building concept as well as the necessary merger of CHEPLAPHARMs departments. Braun adds: “The well-being and thus efficient cooperation of our currently 74 employees is extremely important for our business, provides room for new perspectives and future synergies”.
Characteristic of the new property is the functional connection to the existing office building via a glass tunnel. The entire building is composed of an office area in the West and on the Eastern side a spacious lobby, conference area and offices for management allow for modern and attractive working as well as reception of international business partners.
The front is designed in the style of the existing office space with a mirrored aluminum and glass façade. Hence the Stralsund based architects “gnadler.meyn.woitassek” who designed the building perfectly reflected the values of CHEMPLAPHARM Arzneimittel GmbH: open, young and dynamic.
